Current Research

The Center's current research focuses on preventable hospitalizations. In progress is a study of the differences between the preventable hospiatalization rates of TennCare-insured patients and those with outher types of insurance. The working hypothesis of this study is that significant differences in the probability of having a preventable hospitalization exist among the various health insurance types.
